"U.S. Admits Mistake in Allowing China into WTO": What Do I Think?

It is reported that "Trump administration says U.S. mistakenly backed China WTO accession in 2001".  What are my thoughts about this?

When China was allowed to join WTO back in 2001, thousands upon thousands of illegally imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners(including myself) were forced to work as slaves with bleeding hands and figures to produce cheap "Made in China" products that were to be exported to many countries including the USA. 
A "free ticket" to WTO has not made the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to behave better. On the contrary, it has given the CCP more power to brutally persecute innocent Chinese citizens, and to blackmail the world at the same time.
It is high time that we think again about what the free world has done so far to allow the CCP to go so far in terms of causing damage to the entire world!
