When my daughter was one or two years old, I was trying to teach her the virtue of thinking about others and inviting others to share with her if she had anything good.
我女兒一兩歲的時候，我試圖教她謙讓的美德，並告訴她，如果有什麼好吃的，要先問一下別人吃不吃，不能自己獨吞。
She learned it very fast. On the following day, while she was about to put a candy into her mouth, she suddenly stopped; and asked me very seriously, "Others, would you also like it?"
她學得挺快。第二天拿到一個糖果正要往嘴裏送的時候，突然停下來，看著我認真的問：「別人，你吃嗎？」
