Quote of My Daughter(3)
Once when my daughter was 4 or 5 years old, I took her from Beijing to Sichuan to visit my parents by train. It was a 36-hour long trip, and was very tiring. I bought two tickets for the sleeping car. After we boarded, I climbed up to the upper level of the berth to put away our stuff on the luggage rack higher up.
I asked my daughter who stayed on the floor, “Would you want to read this book? If you do, I’ll leave it for you; if you don’t, I will put it away.”
And she said, ”I don’t need it for the time being.”
Upon hearing this, a fellow passenger in the car couldn’t help laughing and saying, “How interesting this child is! ‘I don’t need it for the time being’, then what shall your mom do with your book?”
