Example of the CCP's Weaponization of the U.S. Legal System
The CCP is weaponizing everything, including the US legal system.
For example, if they want to target a certain group or individual within the United States, they would instruct their agents in the U.S. to launch legal actions against these groups or individuals, dragging you into prolonged legal battles that exhaust you physically and mentally, ultimately breaking you down.
One of the biggest enemies of the CCP, the Shen Yun Performing Arts, is treated exactly this way. Besides using so-called "mainstream media" like The New York Times to publish false reports to distort and smear Shen Yun, they also found agents to endlessly sue Dragon Springs, where Shen Yun's headquarters is located.
Fortunately, a federal judge in the Southern District of New York recently dismissed this "full of holes" lawsuit and prohibited the plaintiff from filing similar lawsuits again, as this was his fourth time doing so.
The central figure behind this accusation is Alex Scilla, who lived in Tianjin, China for 15 years before moving to New York. During that time, he held a position in a supposed "American Chamber of Commerce" and frequently interacted with local CCP officials.
In January 2019, Scilla established a so-called "Environmental Committee" about 40 miles from Dragon Springs. A month later, he set up a new company in China, and this "Environmental Committee" listed this Chinese company as a partner.
The registered capital for his company in China was $120,000. However, there's no sign that he conducted any business in China, which leads me to highly suspect that this was his payment from the CCP.
Recently, the U.S. House of Representatives has introduced dozens of bills addressing various infiltrations and provocations by the CCP, which seems like a good thing. But sometimes I wonder: from another perspective, doesn't this show that the U.S. is too passive in dealing with the CCP? Facing their endless variety of disruptions, shouldn't the free world take proactive measures to dismantle the CCP?
