Beautiful Mood
Yesterday, my husband told me that he is always happy when he thinks about coming back home now because he has a young, beautiful, and energetic "25-year-old wife" at home.
He also said that he admires me the most because even though I've been through the dark times of being imprisoned by the Chinese Communist Party and experienced so many things that are too terrible for him to even read in my autobiography “Witnessing History: One Chinese Woman's Fight for Freedom and Falun Gong” (which he still hasn't finished reading because he can't bear to read it), I still manage to live each day happily and like a child.
He also mentioned that one day we went to a shopping mall, and he saw me jumping and dancing happily with the music in the mall like a naughty little girl. But at night, during my conversation with a BBC producer, I showed such profound wisdom that it completely stunned him.
Only I know that if I hadn't practiced Falun Dafa, I would not be the person I am today, nor would I have such a happy and peaceful mindset. Another thing is that I am always curious and passionate about all the beautiful scenery and souls around me.
When we moved into our new house last year, it was already deep autumn, and the grass in the yard had turned completely yellow. After several months of winter, spring came without us even noticing it.
This morning, when I looked into the yard, I saw something that seemed to have sprouted up near the shed. I thought they might be mushrooms that had grown after the rain, so I put on my shoes and went to take a closer look. To my surprise, they were flower buds waiting to bloom!
I was amazed and immediately took out my phone to take pictures of them, even though the ground was wet from the rain, and I had to kneel down and get my pants wet to get a better shot. I sent the picture to my husband, who had already gone to work, as he rarely has the time to appreciate our yard, especially during the winter when it gets dark early and bright late.
A beautiful mood is actually an ability, which is obtained through cultivation, and it's wonderful to be able to share it with others. For me, it has become a natural and everyday practice.
