I am the hummingbird

on wing to flower

I am the moment

between aeon and hour

I am the dawning sun

into light immersed

I am word in song

beyond time and verse.

I am the earth

from forest to field

I am the unfolding

the promise to yield

I am the breath

of life and lung

I am the hummingbird

waiting to be sung.
