Property Owners Protest Against Ping An Bank's Misappropriation of Escort Funds 宁波业主抗议平安银行挪用监管资金
On Oct 7, dozens of property owners of Sichuan Languang Development Co, another collapsing developer, protesting against #PingAn Bank's misappropriation of their escort funds. Obviously, Ping An bank must have also encountered cash flow problems. Last month when China’s largest developer Evergrande defaulted, Ping An bank said that it had “zero risk exposure” to Evergrande.
However, it is well known that Ping An bank is the real invisible big “boss” behind the real estate industry in China. It has heavy positions in 13 real estate companies and is associated with 20 real estate companies, making it the biggest real estate giant in China, second to none.
