We are songs
in the making
like clouds passing
under an autumn sky
from moments silent
to the melody of thunder
hearts upon horizons
where another storm cries.
With the laughter
of a budding flower
finding solemn air
born of forests deep
each sound of spring
leaping from winter
all songs in the making
rising to mountains steep.
