One audience member angrily asked, “What has the UN done in all these years?”
Commenting on the issue of forced organ harvesting, one congressional staff member says: “It’s too tragic. The world is too silent on the subject… We should speak out more…”
The documentary exposes the connection between the U.S. jobless rate and China’s unfair trade practices and industrial policies, which are shown to be ultimately destructive as manufacturing outsourced on a large scale to China forced the closure of many factories throughout the U.S.
Through the personal accounts of Jennifer Zeng and Dr. Charles Lee, who were brutally persecuted by the Chinese government for practicing Falun Gong, the film documents the conditions in Chinese forced labor camps, the brutality used by the authoritarian state against tens of millions of Falun Gong practitioners, as well as efforts to stop the persecution.
And given Canada's increasing relations with China, debate is what this country needs.

The audience for the screening included MEPs from EU member countries, members of staff from three major EU institutions, representatives from non-governmental organizations, and other dignitaries.
One audience member remarked that the idea that there are two sides to every story reminded her of Holocaust denial. She said that when people claim the historic German genocide against Jews did not happen, it shows that factual truth can sometimes meet with an evil lie.
