China warns lady ‘don’t contact Trump,’ so she writes an open letter exposing the unbelievable

This lady was forced to squat for hours under the scorching sun, repeatedly endured electric shocks, was physically beaten, and cruelly sleep-deprived. She was routinely forced to knit countless garments—despite her bleeding hands—to fulfill her daily quota of “forced labor” in the Chinese jail she was once illegally imprisoned in. If you think this lady’s some hardcore criminal, you’d be terribly mistaken. Recently, she wrote an open letter to President Trump, before his much-awaited China visit, conveying a strong message.

Meet Jennifer Zeng, who has a unique background, being a former Chinese Communist Party (CCP) member, an author with a master’s degree in geochemistry, a leading character for an award-winning documentary, a journalist, and human rights activist. Above all, Zeng is a woman who has endured unimaginable torture at the hands of her own government, just for her spiritual faith in Falun Gong—a self-improvement meditation system practiced by over 100 million people worldwide, but which is persecuted in China today.

Recently, Zeng learned that her 75-year-old mother, a retired judge living in China, has been subject to constant harassment by CCP officials, who are doing so in attempts to dissuade Zeng from making any contact with President Trump.

“The Chinese authorities regularly pay visits to my mother, persisting in asking her to pressurize me to go back to China, or to meet them in the third country, and to work for them as a spy,” she told NTD.TV. “But their ‘visit’ before the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China seemed ‘extra special.’”

Zeng says CCP officials have conveyed a threatening message to her through her mother: “Don’t come into contact with President Donald J. Trump, don’t do anything that will harm the party and the homeland.”

“Usually it is me who calls my mother regularly. She seldom contacts me unless on very rare occasions. So I was quite alarmed to receive her text directly. Her phone has always been tapped and that mental pressure is always there,” said Zeng, who’s one of two main characters in the award-winning documentary Free China: The Courage to Believe, and author of Witnessing History: one woman’s fight for freedom and Falun Gong.

Zeng is one among other well-known survivors of China’s notorious forced-labor-camp system. She started practicing Falun Gong in 1997. But, after the CCP started a nationwide genocide of Falun Gong, she was arrested four times, and then sentenced without a trial to one year of hard labor reform in 2000. Then onward, Jennifer was constantly harassed for her belief.

“When I was held in the detention house, unnamed Falun Gong practitioners would often arrive there, being detained for a few days and then subsequently disappearing. There were about 1000 inmates in the camp. Ninety-five percent were Falun Gong practitioners. Apart from long hours of forced labor, I suffered inhumane physical torture, and mental torture and insults,” she said, whilst also recalling how their blood samples were forcefully drawn during the detention period under the pretext of medical checkups.

Zeng said that many Falun Gong practitioners have died in prison due to severe torture. Zeng was lucky, however, and managed to escape to Australia, where she applied to stay under a refugee status. Since then, she has been working tirelessly to expose the ongoing persecution of Falun Gong in China.

As to why the world’s largest communist regime is “afraid” that an ordinary 51-year-old lady may be able to contact President Trump, she believes her “unwavering efforts to expose the CCP’s crimes” is one of the main reasons.

“If more and more people join in the force, especially if as the leader of the free world, President Trump also realizes the evil and unchangeable nature of the Communist Party, recognizes the importance of the spiritual awakening of the Chinese people, and starts to support this cause, that will be something the CCP least wants to happen. I believe this is the main reason why the CCP doesn’t want me to try to get into contact with and express my thoughts to President Trump,” she said.

In her open letter, Zeng expressed that if she ever got a chance to meet the U.S. president, she’d “remind him that another type of genocide is still happening in China.”

“It once took a long time for the world to believe the existence of Auschwitz, and the world once vowed ‘Never Again.’ Unfortunately, lessons have not been learned, and a new form of evil has been happening for more than a decade in China, where masses of people have been killed on demand for their organs.

“I would like to tell him that countless numbers of my innocent fellow Falun Gong practitioners are still suffering what I once suffered in the labor camp for their belief in the principles of ‘Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance.’ Many of them are forced to do slave labor, and the cheap products have been exported to the world, including to the United States. This has been hurting local industries of many countries, including the United States.

“Few people really know what lies behind communism. What the CCP fears most is for Chinese people and the world to see through it for what it is. We think that communism is dead in many countries, but it is still ‘grinding’ America and other countries down, disguised under other names.”

Recently, during an Oct. 6 event at the White House celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, President Donald Trump said, “Communism is the past, freedom is the future,” to cheers and applause from the crowd.

“The same failed communist ideology that has brought oppression to Cuba has brought nothing but suffering and misery everywhere and every place it has been, anywhere in the world,” Trump said. He also noted that his administration is standing against the authoritarian systems of both communism and socialism.

Zeng published her open letter to Trump in hopes that the U.S. president will address the terrible plight that her fellow practitioners face in China today.

She wrote: “I was very much shocked why the Chinese authorities would have assumed that I would try to ‘come into contact’ with you. However, I could see very clearly the mindset behind the warning: although you were invited to visit China as an ‘honorable’ guest, and will be treated like one, many Communist Party officials still consciously and subconsciously regard you as an enemy. So even if they can invite and meet you, they absolutely don’t want me to do the same. They believe it is dangerous to them for an ordinary former Chinese citizen like me to meet you.

“I’d also like you to be reminded of the House Resolution 343 unanimously passed by the U.S. Congress to express concern over China’s organ procurement from non-consenting prisoners of conscience, including from ‘large numbers of Falun Gong practitioners and members of other religious and ethnic minority groups.’ I hope you would express to President Xi Jinping how outrageous this crime is; and that it must stop NOW.”

“It is a pity that I don’t see any chance for me to get close to President Trump. It is ridiculous that my mom in China has been groundlessly harassed for what I have not done and will not have any chance to do. So, I am writing this article, in a hope that the mighty internet could help, and that somehow the above messages of mine can reach the president, or at least to his assistants and staff.

“My readers, if you have any channels, please do help. Otherwise, wouldn’t my mom be harassed for nothing?”

Before Zeng was persecuted in China for her faith, she was a researcher and consultant in the Development Research Center of the State Council, the State Cabinet. Her story is featured in the award-winning documentary “Free China: The Courage to Believe,” which is co-produced by New Tang Dynasty Television and World2Be Productions. Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) is a self-improvement meditation system based on the universal principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance. It was introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in 1992 in China. It is currently practiced by over 100 million people in 114 countries. But this peaceful meditation system has been brutally persecuted in China since 1999. For more information, please visit: www.FalunDafa.org and www.FalunInfo.org.
