Between a mother and a child’s heart
Bursting of flower come spring
Dawn in its moment of awakening
A trembling bird upon gentle wing.
With a tender flame prevailing
Days to span of cloudless skies
One spark under the brightest sun
Where trust without question why.
Woven amidst timeless seasons
Destined as the eternal tides
Worlds bound by precious light
Unfolding here and forever wide.
Innocence of a butterfly emerging
Horizons nor oceans apart
Faith finding deepest prayer
Between a mother and a child’s heart.
