No Skies Compare
By Gerard Traub
To live as a flower
unfolding to the autumn sun
rising with scent of endless forest
each dawn until another day is done.
To flow as the tide
surrenders to a greater hand
as oceans embrace light and shore
breathing every stretch of sand.
To awaken as a bird
finding wings in silent prayer
with faith from seed toward soaring oak
such moments where no skies compare.
