Losing Weight=Controling Your Desires 減肥心得
In the past three weeks, I successfully lost 3.5 pounds. Not too much, but am on the right track. 過去三週中,我成功減掉三磅半。不是太多,但方向是正確的。
For me, as I don’t want to spend time to do physical exercises (except for the Falun Gong exercises I am doing daily, which are very gentle and slow, and won’t burn much calorie) , the only way to lose wight is to eat less. 因我不想花時間運動(除了每天煉法輪功外。但法輪功的動作都是緩、慢、圓的,消耗不了多少熱量),唯一的減肥方法就是少吃。
So, the success relies on whether I can control my desire to eat more, whether I can get rid of the fear for being afraid of being hungry. As I am already overweight, I should believe that starve myself a little bit won’t kill me. Instead, my fat will be burnt to offer me the necessary energy I need. 所以,能否成功減肥,完全取決於我能否控制住自己想吃的慾望,還有怕被餓著的心。因爲我已經過重了,所以理論上說,當我餓的時候,多餘的脂肪就會被燃燒,爲我提供需要的熱量,所以不必害怕。
So, keep up the effort. I do believe people should be responsible for their own appearance after they turn 40. To be able to control one’s weight is a manifestation of one’s willpower. And I decide to be a person with strong willpower. 寫這個帖子,就是想監督鼓勵自己堅持下去。林肯說,一個人過了四十歲,就要對自己的外貌負責了。我覺得是這麼回事。能不能管理好自己的身材,是一個人意志力的體現。
My willpower is not strong enough yet, I need to strengthen it more. 我的意志力還不夠強,所以需要繼續努力。
