The Hebi Radio Management Bureau's official account further publicized the event's message, stating, "In recent years, Christianity has been expanding rampantly in our country. To ensure that all party members correctly understand Christianity and prevent ideological deviations, this class was organized and deemed effective."

This event draws parallels to the CCP's past actions against other groups, notably the Falun Gong, which faced severe persecution when its membership reportedly exceeded that of the Party.

I believe that while the CCP might be too entangled in its suppression of Falun Gong to initiate a similar large-scale operation against Christianity, the Party's inherent distrust of the religion as a potential adversary could still dictate its policies and actions towards Christians in China.

This development underscores the ongoing tension between state control and religious freedom in China, hinting at future challenges for Christian and Catholic communities under the CCP's watch.
