A True Story about the "Social Credit Score System" in China
This is a true story: a Falun Gong couple in China took the train to Beijing but were stopped & ordered to get off at the station just before Beijing at the request of local police, who found out that they had bought train tickets to Beijing. They had no other choice and had to buy two return tickets. When they called their local police as ordered, the local police already knew that they had bought return tickets.
I recently heard this story from the above-mentioned couple who just escaped China. They said all these happened because of the social credit score system.

When I was in China, I knew a Falun Gong practitioner who was a native of Wuxi and worked in Shandong, and he went home to visit his family once a month.Every time he left Wuxi for Shandong, as soon as his ticket was scanned, a large group of police officers immediately came over to turn his luggage upside down [and carefully searched everything.]
