Happy Time at the "End of the World"「世界盡頭」 快樂的一天

This photo was taken when I was in primary school. I was given a treat and taken to the park at Mianzhu County, Sichuan Province, China, to play for a whole day by my mother's friend. Mianzhu County is about 13 Kilometers (8 miles) away from Hanwang, where we lived. Hanwang was a small town with only a population of some 30K, and no parks or playgrounds for children whatsoever. For me as a child, Mianzhu County was as remote as the end of the world. Transportation was very difficult when nobody had a car, or even a bike. Buses might only run once everyday.
這張照片是小學時照片。我母親的一個朋友帶自己的孩子去縣城的公園玩，順利把我「捎帶」上。那時我們全家隨父親被「發配」到四川省綿竹縣漢旺鎮，一個人口只有三萬、且根本沒有公園或兒童遊樂園的小地方。綿竹縣裏有全縣唯一的一個公園。對於兒時的我來說，13公里以外的縣城就跟世界的盡頭的一樣遠！所以，能到「世界的盡頭」遊玩一天，真是把我樂壞了！
So, I was extremely happy that my mother's friend chose to take me with her family to the BIG CITY to play. And we decided to take a group photo after a happy day in the park, as a remembrance of such an important event. Nobody had a family camera then, but there people making a living in the park by taking "professional photos" for people. So this was one of their jobs! I still remember that the man who took this photo for us praising me for knowing how to smile when taking photos! And that's why the little girl beside was trying so hard to look at me to see how I was smiling!
那裏大家既沒有私家車，也沒有私家相機。但公園裏有以幫別人照相爲生的「職業攝影師」。所以這張就是他的作品。我至今還記得他一個勁誇我，說只有我最知道照相時要怎樣「表情」，引得站在我旁邊的小女孩斜翻著眼來看我是怎麼「表情」的。
啊，多麼快樂的一天（標準小學生作文結束句，有沒有？）
PS: If you think my T-shirt looks strange, that was because my photoshop skill is too poor. I have managed to remove the red scarf I was wearing. All Young Pioneers in China are required to wear it. Since I have withdrawn from the Communist Party and its related organizations including Young Pioneers, I believe it is better to remove it. 又：如果您覺得我的上衣有點奇怪，那就對了，因爲我用很不怎麼高明的PS技術，把自己的紅領巾抹去了。既然已經發表聲明退出中共黨團隊一切組織，總不能再戴著那玩藝兒，對吧？
還有，顯然我那時比其他小夥伴更傻，人家都沒戴那勞什子的紅領巾（幸虧他們沒戴，不然我PS的工作量豈不增加三倍？），就我還戴著，連出去玩都沒忘記！怪不得我年年當「三好生」呢。真是傻透了。
